A Federal Grand Jury has issued indictments against two Glasgow Police Department assistant chiefs. The Defendants are Johnny Lee Travis and Maxie Christopher Murray. They are charged with violating 21 U.S.C. Section 844, 846 (the Federal Controlled Substances Act) and 18 U.S.C. Section 1512 (b)(3) (Federal Witness Tampering).

On Tuesday, February 10, 2009 a comptency hearing will take place for Willie Paul Grant at the Adair County Courthouse. Grant admitted to psychologist Stephe Free that Grant intentionally shot local business Rex Coffey in June 2007.
