Glasgow V. Pollock/Hoffman Part 2

Posted by Adam Parker @ 11:42 pm

GLASGOW KENTUCKY: As reported prior the City of Glasgow filed a lawsuit against Treasurer Susie Pollock and her sister Lorene Hoffman who was employed at the Glasgow Police Department. The civil complaint stated that Pollock and Hoffman defrauded the city by altering “Hoffman’s time sheets to indicate Hoffman worked more hours than she did, in fact, work.”

In response to that statement on the civil complaint Hoffman and Pollock’s attorney W. Currie Milliken answered “that all actions taken by either Pollock or Hoffman were authorized and approved”. However they did not identify in the answer which individual gave authorization.

Hoffman and Pollock also pleaded the Statue of limitations as a complete bar to the Cities claim in addition to accord and satisfaction, estoppel, and waiver. The suit was filed on September 25, 2007. The discrepancies in the payroll were discovered in an early 2003 audit requested by newly elected Mayor Darrell Pickett.

Pickett was the Glasgow Police Chief and the supervisor of Hoffman from when the discrepancies occurred before 2003.
