COLUMBIA KENTUCKY:The activity report released by the Kentucky State Police Post 15 in Columbia Kentucky shows that there were five fatality investigations for the month of January 2009; two each in both Green and Washington Counties and one in Adair County. This compares to three similar investigations compared to January 2008.
Post 15 Officers made 241 criminal arrests, while assisting 97 motorists. They inspected over a thousand vehicles, issued over 900 citations, opened 88 criminal cases, and worked 33 traffic accidents.
KSP Post 15 is responsible for 11 counties including Adair, Casey, Russell, and Taylor. Trooper Billy Gregory of Post 15 compiled the activity report.
